Community involvement, civic engagement and volunteering have been a focus of Laura Love’s since she founded her creative agency, GroundFloor Media, in 2001. Join Laura and her CenterTable colleague, Jim Licko, as they shine a light on the critical issues facing Colorado told through the eyes of the leaders making a difference in our community. What grounds us to the realities we are facing as a state? What good can we do – as individuals, families and companies -- to help shape our future? How can we get involved in meaningful ways? Episodes are purposefully brief (10-20 minutes), and are based on the important matters in the news with interviews from well-respected Colorado-based leaders.

Colorado does so many things so well, but we’ve got a lot of work to do when it comes to our housing crisis. No one is more aware of this than Ismael Guerrero, President and CEO of Mercy Housing, the nation’s largest affordable housing nonprofit. Housing supply can’t keep up with the influx of people moving to Colorado and even when housing is available, working families can’t afford the rent or mortgage. Where is this housing crisis headed? Jim Licko and Laura Love speak with Ismael to find out.
